Monday Mystery at Night

Happy Family Day Everyone!

Nothing like sitting down on a holiday such as this with the Complete Works of Shakespeare on my left, and a hot cup of Jasmine Tea on my right.

After much searching and reading, I then found this week’s Mystery Quote!

Churl, upon thy eyes I throw
All the power this charm doth owe.
When thou wakest, let love forbid
Sleep his seat on thy eyelid

From which play and by whom is this lovely passage delivered?

Let the guessing begin!

  1. Love has not blinded you like it did Hermia and Lysander in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Congratulations you found the play. Check back at the end of this week, and I will divulge all if the character who speaks this line is not guessed beforehand.
